Bowling and olives

I said I’d have a good weekend and by golly I did. I didn’t do much housework at all, which means we’ll have a butt load of laundry for the Laundromat next week but I have a 3 day weekend 😀

Saturday I went to see Jusy at a plaza where we shopped (I actually didn’t buy much of anything) and had a lunch/dinner at TGI Fridays. We also went to Borders afterwards to get coffee and it was so nice to sit and just talk with her for a while. In some very important ways we have a lot in common, things I don’t have in common with some other people. I felt like we could open up to each other like we hadn’t been able to with others, or at least that is how I felt.

Sunday Erik and I went bowling, which we’d talked about for a while but hadn’t actually gone before. I kicked his butt in bowling 53 to 66 (go me) but he kicked my butt in ski ball 😎 We also did a short trip to Target (pronounced tarjay) and got him a nice jacket he really needed for the spring.

As far as the olives go Aurora somehow found a black (seeded) olive and was playing soccer with it for hours; every once and a while she’d stop and lick it for a while. What was so strange was she must have hid this olive for a while to use later. My little girl is so strange but that’s why I love her.

I can only imagine if Savannah got hold of an olive to play with. She’d turn her nose up and leave it somewhere for me to find — like in the middle of the night with my bare feet.

Thanks for the comments on my blog! I like your side bar. It’s neat and everything is easy to read!

Shelly – Cats have such strong personalities…they are all so different but so similiar. Thanks for coming by…I keep it tidy here because otherwise it would drive me crazy.

Chris – Normally I’d buy something as well but I’ve got a pile of books I need to read and I’m overwhelmed as it is.
