Meet Clover

I’m growing him at my desk and to my disbelief I can see sprouts! I’ll be taking pictures to show the progress:

Yeah we grew a plant for cats once but they weren’t interested. They’d rather eat the flowers Erik buys for me.

Wahoo! I can’t wait to see it growing!

The kids planted some wheatgrass seeds in styrofoam cups at the arboretum last week. They are on the windowsills in the kitchen, now, and fully grown. The one that’s on the lower windowsill, where the cats can reach, is, oddly, much shorter than the one that’s up high 😀

I had a clover plant for a while. I loved it! Only problem is, it’s the only plant my cat found tasty. No matter where I put it, she finally discovered it each time and ate it. I finally had to put it in the kitchen, where it didn’t get enough light and promptly died. 🙁 Hope yours fares better.

Hi Caryn – I have mine at work, which is nice considering I miss the outside sometimes. Erik gave me a light bulb that is like sunlight I suppose so it will grow. I’m sorry about your clover plant…bad kitties!
