Sunday is bitter sweet

I love and hate Sundays. I used to not like Sundays much because I felt they were boring, dreary and dragged on. Now Sunday is the one day I get to spend with Erik and it tends to be my “home day.”

There is a lot of good things about Sunday but the one bad thing is Monday (and work) is right around the corner. I try not to think about it but it creeps back into my mind from time to time during the day. Sunday is though usually my day for laundry, groceries and cleaning up around the house.

My friend Maureen introduced me to a really cool site and I thought I’d share it with you, it’s called Johari’s Window. It’s a way of others to get to know you and you getting to know yourself. It’s also located on my blog now if you ever want to look at it, hey that’s what my blog is for, to get to know myself better and the world around me.  I found out there is also a Nohari’s Window, which is the negative side.
Oh hey, I think I found a way to make pretty good mocha lattes from home, or something close to it!

I also updated my This Site page with more information I know you were dying to know about my blog, feel free to check it out. I’m working on having a page with a list of all my tags but it’s not quite working yet.

I used to hate Sundays, too. It’s like every week, it was the day before the first day of school after summer vacation. It was THAT bad.

Now, I don’t care. All the days are the same to me. Except Sundays. It’s the one day I shouldn’t (and from now on won’t) do ANY work at all.

I wish I could get away without doing any work but then again Saturday is kind of my day to go at my own pace. I’m sitting here surrounded by laundry to fold right now and all I want to do is curl up in a ball 🙁

We just need three day weekends from now on. All these days just blur together for me these days with so much stuff to do. Today I did 4 hours of work, laundry, grocery shopping, 2 tests and made a real dinner which usually only happens on Sunday and once in a while Tuesdays when I don’t work my part-time job at night.

Yeah, no wonder we are all unhealthy and stressed out.

I hate Mondays for the simple fact that they’re like most peoples Sundays, I goto work Tuesday for 8 days straight then get 6 days off to relax. 🙁
