Switching lanes

It’s official; my biggest pet peeve when I’m driving is when someone keeps switching lanes (in nearly bumper to bumper traffic) just to try to get a few more feet ahead. If I can, I make sure not to let the guy in ahead of me, I suppose to try to “stick it to him” but the guy always finds another way to get ahead. Do they treat driving like being in a video game and each car you get past is another 100 points or something? Is this just a Boston thing or do people do this everywhere? I must see at least 1 person do this everyday. Every time I see it I want to roll down my window and yell “Do you feel better now? You are another few feet closer to work, you rule!”

my biggest pet peeve is when you are in traffic, and they see that the lane is ending, yet they STILL ride it to the end, and you are forced to let their sorry asses over. I HATE THAT!
