A year of better coffee

I think I need a new coffee maker and I have to figure out eventually how to afford a decent one. See I make my coffee and put my splenda in and fill the other 1/2 of the cup with milk. It can’t be right that by the time I bring my mug into the livingroom it’s not remotely hot or warm anymore. It’s so frustrating to get into the car early in the morning to go to work and I take a sip from my mug and it’s tepid coffee.

Am I doing something wrong (and don’t say I use too much milk) or do I just need a better coffee maker? Mind you when I buy a cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts it’s so boiling hot (with the same amount of milk) that I can’t drink it until I get to work.

If you put the milk in the mug and microwave it for about a minute or so and then put in your coffee, you should be good. Usually when you get coffee to go, they steam the milk beforehand. You could also get an espresso maker and use that to steam the milk while the coffee is brewing, I don’t know about you, though, but that’s way too complicated for me in the morning.

Yeah I need it really simple, I don’t function well early in the morning. I could use our cappucino maker more often on the weekends though.
