A Wish List is a Good Thing

After talking with my MIL about not knowing what to get anyone this year and about how I’m still hoping someone will get me Mr. and Mrs. Smith for my birthday we decided that an Amazon Wish List is a good thing. At the very least it gives you ideas of what a person would like to have even if you don’t get them that exact thing. Hey, it can’t hurt right?

So people start a Wish List this year for your birthday or Chrismakah so we all don’t stress over what in the world to get you and so you don’t end up with some mug!

I want to do that for next year–ask everyone, sometime end of October, to make and send me a wishlist, either on Amazon or somewhere. This year was too crazy, I tried to prepare early and buy the whole Xmas gifts load in November, but I was so uninspired for certain people that I still ended up having to find last-minute stuff. (Yes, it’s very annoying when you need to make gifts to male friends/family who have already bought what they want, don’t care about clothes/perfume/flowers/the kind of little things you can easily offer to women, and whose wishes are stuff like cars, that you clearly can’t afford! LOL)

You sound just like me. I actually bought most of my presents from Old Navy or Amazon.com. I think in September I will ask people to start a wish list and in November I’ll ask everyone who didn’t do one if they will.
