Kiss the Misltoe

My Chanukah dinner couldn’t have gone better. My MIL, mother, father, brother, boyfriend and myself sat around talking for several hours. We made a great dinner of latkes, brisket, rice and of course Manishevitz wine. We all opened presents and I think my brother liked his present from us the most. We got him the 1st and 2nd season of The Family Guy which makes me happy to know that I know him a little better.

Today I spend the day with my MIL which even already we’ve spent the whole morning talking and sharing. Sometimes I forget we can get along so well, it’s been a good time this time

My boyfriend is working today as he does on Saturdays so I will spend a good part of the day probably cleaning the house. There is a smidge more shopping I need to but then again the reason I haven’t finished that shopping is I haven’t a clue what to get

Tonight is all for US…thank Kevin!!! We haven’t had time to ourselves in forever since we’ve been sick, other priorities, stress and we really need a night to just be about us. We might do a night out or a night in…we’ll see.

Sunday is the usual family x-mas party which should be nice. My boyfriend is getting his BIG present that day and I can’t wait to see his expression. I’m not going to post about it here just in case he reads this before Sunday.

I’m so glad it’s on Saturday and I don’t have to be back to work until Tuesday!!!
