Show me all the blueprints

Say that sentence about 50 times over and over again and you might have an idea what it is like to be like Howard Hughes. Tonight I finally got to see The Aviator and it was fascinating. What an amazing life and a spectacular person he was.

The part of this film was really Leonardo DiCaprio. I’ve liked Leonardo back when he guest starred on Growing Pains but he’s really grown into a talented man. I think DiCaprio taking on the role of Howard Hughes is finally bringing him out of the heart throb title he’d gotten against his will. I’ve always felt Mr. DiCaprio has always been vastly underapreciated for his work.

There was a lot that was impressive about this film. Kate Blanchett really captured Katharine Hepburn on such a level I pretty much stopped seeing Blachette after a while. Still I think the most exciting part of this film was learning about Howard Hughes himself. He had such a surreal life and there were times I truly thought he had to be dreaming but it actually happened.
