More than a pest

Writing Prompt: What is the worst movie that first comes to your head that you’ve seen?

Whenever I think about the worst movie I’ve ever seen the first one that always comes to mind is The Pest starring (and I just found out co-written by) John Leguizamo. I have no real issues with Mr. Leguizamo although I can’t think of a movie that I’ve ever liked of his but in this in particular I was not fond of him. He plays this strange guy who let’s someone hunt him for $50,000 and finds brand new ways to look like a complete and utter moron. To be honest I think I’ve blocked out most of this movie since it came out in 1997. My friends dragged me to see this in the theater when I was in college. Once I lost count of the amount of times he vomited on screen at that point I decided I’d rather sit in the lobby than stick around to see how it ends. So far no movie has ever made me that sickened on many levels.

the only one I can think of is Anything Else with Jason Biggs and Christina Ricci. Now I’m big
fans of theirs, but I forgot how much I hate Woody Allen movies. It just made no sense at all
I can’t even get into specifics, because after so long I didn’t even pay attention. That is
unlike me because I can sit through a bad movie, done it before. its the critic in me. But that
    movie went nowhere, fast.

THIS is why we’re friends Sean. I think I even saw that in the theater because the previews seemed good…the movie…was not. Sometimes I think I should like Allen because he’s Jewish (and so am I) but I don’t…I don’t think he’s talented in any way shape or form.

I have suffered through several WA movies and I don’t think there is anything to get. You are not “not getting it”, you are not stupid. He is NOT a therapist. It’s all about time, place, and money. Let’s just move on and watch movies we really love. There are SO many after all!
