Life is too short
I’ve always loved Angelina Jolie. I’ve always thought she was a remarkable and fascinating woman in so many ways. I never thought I’d be in a similar situation as hers and would be able to empathize with her so much. Her “relationship” (they still haven’t admitted as much) is being scrutinized as her being a “homewrecker” but do any of us really know the whole story?
Some might consider me a “homewrecker” but they would definitely not have their facts straight. Let’s be straight here for a second…60% of marriages end in divorce these days or at least that was the last statistic I’d heard. I think a lot of people get married for the wrong reasons and therefore the marriage won’t last.
I think a big issue in relationships in general is the fact that we as human beings change throughout our lives. For instance I am not the same person I was when I was 16 or when I was 22. I’m sure by the time I turn 30 I will have changed quite a bit as well. It’s tough to change while in a relationship together and it’s hard to accept the changes from your significant other as well. I know it was hard enough for me to make friendships work as we all change so much over the years.
I feel bad for Jen because having a relationship fall apart isn’t easy for anyone and it’s even harder when you have to legally end it. I hope in the end this change for Jen ends up being a positive one.
I guess what I’m saying is as a woman in love with a man who’s going through a divorce of his own I don’t believe it’s fair to blame Angie. All she did was fall in love with a guy…a guy with more baggage than the average guy. Life is too short to not live life to the fullest.
