Just use your brain

That’s the easiest way to eat better…just be smart about it. I shouldn’t talk…I’m drinking a Mountain Dew Code Red right now but I’m in a bit of a slump with TOM crashing my party. No excuse…don’t I know it. At least I still took the inside out of my wheat bagel this morning right?

Reading Renee Gets Fit and her recent listings of 100 Smartest Diet Tips. I read them and I’m like “well yeah” but I never put any of this into action. It would be easy to add a vegitable serving or fruit everyday…does Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream count? I should eat at the table more and less in front of the tv. It’s not like Erik and I can’t fill the time with plenty of interesting conversation.

Anyway…I’m doing alright on the health side. I was pretty lame with my workouts this week but I still did them.

    Ugh, TOM sucks πŸ™
    But you are right – at least you did them. That’s what’s important! I remember reading in Shape magazine once that even when we think our workouts are “easy” they still make a difference.

    Buuuuut, doesn’t it suck the icecream can’t be a fruit serving? I wish!!!!!! πŸ˜‰
