It’s fucking hard to continue friendships. I have several good friends from the past 10 years that I hardly ever see because they are so far away. I don’t have one friend less than a 1/2 hour away. It’s not that I don’t want to see them…it’s that it’s tough to make plans to drive an hour or more to go see someone when your free time is mainly for relaxing from a tough work week and getting shit done. I’m not sure but I think a friend of mine has gotten frustrated with me. She says she called me 3x which I don’t remember but I feel bad calling people back when I never seem to have the time. I just wish I knew how to make this work better.
